We are a growing Occupational Health Clinic with offices in Rochester, Batavia, and Medina. We are looking for a well-rounded, friendly, detailed-oriented Midlevel Practitioner. Duties include performing pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, 19A exams for Bus Drivers, treating Worker’s Compensation injuries, and minor suturing in our offices. We also travel to off-site locations to perform various types of physical examinations and some primary care functions. Hours are mainly day shift Monday through Friday, with an occasional evening or Saturday. Primary Care, Occupational Health, or Emergency Medicine experience is a big plus. These exams require comfort with EKGs, pulmonary function testing and interpretation, as well as some autonomous function in an office setting. interview. 02/12/10 - Nurse Midwife - Are you a caring Nurse Midwife seeking to establish a practice with a progressive group nestled in the Finger Lakes? We are currently recruiting for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner-Midwife in the Canandaigua, NY area. This full-time position requires a total professional with a passion for women's health and midwifery. You would be establishing midwifery as a new role in the practice. The hospital affiliation is top-notch, but retains the small-town atmosphere. You would work in a progressive Birthing Center that delivered almost 700 babies last year. This is a well-managed private office with two other Nurse Practitioners on the staff. You would share on call 1:5. This is a direct hire position. The salary is in the 80's with a $4800 annual health benefit that may be used for health insurance of paid as salary. 01/29/10 - Nurse Practitioner (Finger Lakes Region, NY) EXPERIENCE:1-3 years clinical experience, preferable acute care hospital, LTC, rehabilitation & discharge planning beneficial. Clinical experience as a RN may be counted toward the requirement. Leadership experience highly desirable. LICENSES: RN in NYS, National Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner w/ licensure in NYS. Geriatric or Rehabilitation credentialing preferential.
