How do I find a NP?

Nurse practitioners are frequently the "invisible provider" because NP services are often billed under the physician's name. Nurse practitioners in the Rochester area are not recognized as primary care providers by the local insurance companies. As a result, patients who choose to see an NP must list the NP's collaborating physician's name as their primary care provider. This can be confusing for many patients.

The NP directory can be used by patients to help locate a NP for their care. NPs are listed by specialty.
