Purpose: To provide RADE members and other health care providers with an understanding of the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Diabetes during Pregnancy. They will use this information when working with patients with PCOS or diabetes during pregnancy.
Objectives: The participant will be able to:
1. State two risk factors and their clinical presentation in women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
2. List two treatment options in the management of women with PCOS.
3. List two treatment strategies for each of the following patients; women with gestational diabetes, pregnant women
with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
4. Identify two ADA 2010 Clinical Practice Recommendations for the screening and treatment of Diabetes in Pregnancy.

To receive a statement of credit, the participant must be present for the 120-minute presentation and fill out an evaluation form. Once this is completed, the Statement of Credit will be handed out at the end of the program.
