NSG 435 Legal Nurse
Consultant
Expert instructor and practicing Legal Nurse Consultant, Alexa
Schneider, MS, FNP, SANE, LNCC will teach 5 in class sessionas as well
as facilitate an internship with an attorney or legal nurse consultant
in your geographic area.
This course provides registered and advanced practice nurses with the
knowledge and skills necessary to assume the role of a legal nurse
consultant and a testifying expert. Students will synthesize nursing
knowledge, clinical expertise, and legal principles to consult on
medical-legal case. Students will participate in an internship (168
hours) with an attorney or legal nurse consultant.
Dates and Times: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
